One of my favorite quarters of all time! I found it a few years back all by itself at a coin shop where it was waiting by a sink to undergo a dipping procedure. I convinced the owner of the shop to sell it to me instead...he took a lot of convincing and I paid a premium (well beyond market value) to get the coin all to myself in all it's undipped glory but I couldn't imagine a better purchase. There are some coins that just can't be measured by the greysheet...this is one of them. The Obverse is electric blue with notes of pink and purple scattered over the coin with a few small patches of gold and one small area in front of Washington that is still white. The reverse is rimmed in a thin line of lavender. Honestly, even if I break up the contingent one day, or liquidate my collection, this coin will be one of the few that stay to be passed on.
