Owner's Description

Medal, 1960-1974, Bz, MISSION SAN LUIS OBISPO DE TOLOSA, MACO CA MISSION SERIES, So Called Dollar HK-UNL, NGC MS66RB PL, Cert# 3667879-011. This Catholic Commemorative Mission Series began in 1961 via Altobello Jewelers of Los Angeles, CA (Granada Enterprises for the medal series), with medals released in silver and bronze (41.5 mm), and this series appears to have wrapped up -- unfinished -- by the mid 1970s. Each Medal's reverse features an artifact that distinguishes the mission. Comes with Original Box, Cotton Liner and Medal Notes Sheet.
