Owner's Description

A silver Penny of Aethelred II OK I think this is one of my two WOW coins. About a 1000 years old and a simply wonderful AU 55!!!!!!! And I think a perfectly struck coin.I purchased this coin on eBay I purchased this coin from eBay. When I saw this coin I said I had to have it. Spink does not value such coins above VF which in this case is 350 Pounds or presently about $560. So an AU-55 = ??? I gladly paid $450 (my Max bid was a lot higher).

Let's be totally honest here, how many of you would have paid a lot more than $450 for this coin had it been in this holder at the time of sale?
