This slot containes two examples of a Saddle Struck Lincoln Cent. - Saddle Struck Coins are struck on Dual or Quad Press Systems. The planchet actually falls and comes to rest between the two coining chambers. Each Pair of Dies will strike the planchet causing a fold or bend in the center of the planchet.
