This slot contains A 1979P Jefferson Nickel Struck on a 3.1 Gram Copper Planchet. - When a wayward, unintended planchet enters a coining chamber for another denomination of coinage a “Wrong Planchet Error” will occur. This example of the Jefferson Nickel on a Copper Cent Planchet has the same weight as the Copper Cent and this copper planchet will be the same size as a Jefferson Nickel.
