Owner's Description

This slot contains a Lincoln Cent that was struck on the obverse by capped Die. - Early struck coins from the hammer side of the capped die will show a mirror image known as a "Brockage". Later successive strikes will cause the hammer face image to fade away. These featureless image strikes are called "Struck By Cap Die".
