Set Description
Wow, what a great thrill it has been pursuing a collection of NGC Certified Franklin halves. What began as the #32 set in the Registry at 3200 points has grown beyond my wildest dreams. The upgrade process has been quite rewarding. A few months ago I decided to make a rather dramatic shift in my collection adding PCGS certified coins to this set. As has been the rule - "Collect the coin, not the holder" - I have included only coins that are correctly graded and are appealing to the eye. With the help of some wonderful numismatic firms like David Lawrence Rare Coins, Liberty Bell Coins, Heritage Rare Coins, Teletrade Certified Coin Auctions, and Pinnacle Rarities, I have been able to build an incredible collection of gem Franklins. To each of these I say thank you.<br>

At this point there is only one date/mint – the 1962-D – which I strongly want to acquire in an upgraded mint state level.<br>
