Owner's Description

An extremely important Choice Mint State specimen, surviving from a small mintage of only 18,201 business strikes, there are only six examples in MS64 and two in MS65 with none finer. This example exhibits frosty orange-gold luster with splashes of pale toning on each side. The surfaces host a few scattered marks that limit the grade. Dark toning spots are noted above the eagle's head. Heritage 7/12: 4915.
