Owner's Description

MS64 examples of this date are rare, and only one MS65 has been graded finer. The mintmark appears repunched, and there is a faint outline of the earlier "S" just east of its current location. Such a variety is unlisted in Breen (1988). This coin boasts a strong strike and highly reflective fields. The color is orange gold with rose gold highlights. This is a classic example of what a star graded NGC coin should look like. Heritage 7/09: 1637.
