Owner's Description

Winter Variety 1, Die State I. This is a crusty, dirty original coin that has a very good strike for a Charlotte Half Eagle. There is minor weakness on Liberty's hair and bun, stars eleven, twelve and thirteen on the obverse and on the eagle's neck on the reverse. The reverse is rotated approximately 15° from vertical. The color is a rich green-gold with rose gold highlights. Purchased from JJ Teaparty.
