Owner's Description

The 1863 is the third rarest No Motto Liberty Half Eagle after the unique 1854-S and the 1864-S. It is also the second rarest P mint coin in the entire Liberty Half Eagle series. This is a fully original coin with sunset gold colors and beautiful satin luster. It has remarkably choice surfaces with just a few small scuffs visible to the naked eye and a complete absence of rub or wear on the high spots. Purchased from Doug Winter.
