Owner's Description

Winter Variety 2. A crusty original coin with green gold color and light “dirt” in the recessed areas. As with all ’40-C half eagles, the strike is soft at the centers, particularly on the obverse. With the exception of the first star, the definition on the stars is better than most examples. Purchased from Doug Winter.
