Owner's Description

First year Morgan from Philadelphia. This one has 7 tail feathers and sports the reverse of 1879. Very rare in the GSA soft pack, as only 4 have been graded. One graded higher at AU53, with 2 at XF40 and 1 at VG. First year Morgans are one of my favorite dates, due in part to the many varieties available.

This is the coin that put me over the top in achieving 200,000 total registry points!! Whooo-Hooo!!
