Mint Product #G10. NGC UNIVERSAL ID #2vnl. Pre-issue price: $54.95. Regular Price: $59.95.
Both proof and uncirculated versions of the coins were struck at the West Point Mint. There will also be at a later date a 2013 Girl Scouts of The USA Young Collectors Set. There will be a maximum issuance of 50,000.
Today there are well over 3 million Girl Scout participants in the USA and Territories.
Juliette Gordon Low had the belief that girls be given the same opportunities to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. She is credited with starting the Girl Scouts on March 12,1912.
The obverse designer is Barbara Fox, and the reverse was designed by Chris Costello.
The obverse design shows three girls of different ages to represent the diversity of the organization. The reverse shows the classic Girl Scout symbol.
