This year is the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts, and also the 30th year since the re-intoduction of the modern commemorative silver dollar.
Pre-issue Price: $50.95. Regular Price: 55.95. NGC UNIVERSAL ID 1VNL. U.S. Mint Product # G11.
The obverse Shows 3 young girls and the Girls Scouts mission statement. "Courage", "confidence", and "Character".
On March 12, 1912, Juliette Gordon Low organised the first Girl Scouts troup in Savannah, Georgia.
The reverse features the girl scout trefoil/profiles in symbol.
The designer of the obverse is, Barbara Fox, and the reverse designer is Chris Costello.
The maximum authorized mintage across all is 500,000.
The proof and uncirculated versions of the 2013 Girl Scout Silver Dollar Commemorative Coin was minted and struck at the West Point Mint.
