SHORT SNIPIT: John Marshall was mainly home schooled, but did attend Campbell Academy where one of his classmates was future President James Monroe.
The 2005 Chief Justice John Marshall Silver Dollar was issued to commend the 250th anniversary of his birth.

The John Marshall Commorative Silver Dollar was minted in Philadelphia for both the proof and uncirculated versions. There was pre-issue pricing and later a Chief Justice John Marshall Coin and Chronicles Set was offered at $59.95 and had a mintage maximum of 25,000. The set included the uncirculated version of the coin an intaglio print of the statue of him plus a information booklet. The Supreme Court Historical Society recieved the money from the surcharges that were added to the cost of the coins.
