Owner's Description

Robert Francis Kennedy was born on November 20, 1925, commonly known as "Bobby". He was a Seaman apprentice in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He was a Harvard Grad as well as receiving a law degree fro the Virginia School of Law.

The Robert F. Kennedy Silver Dollar was issued to commemorate the work and life of Robert F. Kennedy. The coin was released on the 30th anniversary of his death.The obverse shows a bust image of R.F.K and the reverse shows the Seal of the Department of Justice and the Seal of the United States Senate. Robert F. Kennedy served as both a United States Senator and Attorney General under the Presidecy of his brother John F. Kennedy who was ultimately assasinated in 1963.
Robert F. Kennedy would sadly meet with the fate of his brother, the President in the June 1968 primary in California, where an assasin killed him in his convention campaign hotel after giving a acceptance speech.
