Mintage: 125,000. Population: 8320. NGC Universal ID: 28WR. Catalog #KM-454. Pre-issue price: $31.95. Regular price: $33.95. The 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln was why a Silver Dollar was issued to commemorate him. Also in 2009 the Mint issued four different reverse designs for the 2009 Lincoln Cents
The obverse shows a frontal portrait of Lincoln designed by Justin Kuntz. The reverse has the 43 words of the Gettysburg Address surrounded by a laurel wreath. This was designed by Phebe Hemphill..
