Owner's Description

The 2010 Americans Veterans Disabled for Life Silver Dollar commemorative was issued to honor the members of the United States Armed Forces who made sacrifices for their country. The obverse shows 3 soldiers on crutches and the reverse has a wreath with the inscription "Take This Moment to Honor Our Disabled Defenders of Freedom."
The obverse and reverse were designed by Don Everhart. A personal thanks to Mr. Everhart from a disabled veteran for such a wonderful job on the coins designs.
Mintage: 189,881. Population: 3627. NGC Universal ID: 28WY. Pre-issue price: $39.95. Regular price: $43.95.
The West Point Mint struck both the proof and uncirculated versions of the coin.
