Owner's Description

The American Veterans Disabled for Life Silver Dollar was issued under one of the two commemorative coin programs authorized for the year 2010. This program honors members of the United States Armed Forces who made enormous personal sacrifices for their country. The obverse of the coin shows the legs and boots of three veterans using crutches. The reverse shows a forget me not at the bottom of a wreath with a inscription inside the wreath.
Don Everhart designed the obverse and reverse of this coin, and may I add as a disabled veteran, I think it is wonderful.
