Owner's Description

The traveling wall is run by local volunteers. They help in the sponsorship, as well as the set, help folks find names, and dismantle for transportation to the next site. There is two moving walls to serve the people of the United States.
The wall travels from April through November, spending about one week at each site. Scheduling a visit of the moving wall are frequently civic groups, schools, veterans organizations, and requires months of planning and dozens of local volunteers.

The 1994 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Silver Dollars were minted at West Point for the uncirculated, and the proofs were struck in Philadelphia. The maximum authorized minting was not reached. The coins were offered for sale individually, or as part of a three coin set that included the other two Memorial Silver Dollars. All the 1994 coins had a pre-issue price time period before having regular prices.
