CYPRUS, KING GEORGE 1 PIASTRE 1927.

OBVERSE: Crowned bust of King George V facing left.
REVERSE: 1 within a beaded circle.
ENGRAVERS: Obverse: Edwar Bertram MacKennal. Reverse: Leonard Charles Wyon.
DIAMETER: 32 mm
WEIGHT: 11.66 g
EDGE: Plain.
METAL COMPOSITION: Copper 95%, Tin 4%, Zinc 1%.
MINTAGE: 126,000
RARITY: Common date, but scarce in uncirculated.

A wonderfull brilliant coin, essentially a GEM, as it has super-bold strike, booming luster and hardly any abrasion.
NGC: The single finest example of the date.
