Owner's Description

THIS COIN: Boldly struck with awesome cartwheel luster. Fields are super clean with riveting eye appeal.
BACKGROUND: The San Francisco Mint produced 703,000 Trade Dollars in this, the first Trade Dollar with an "S" mint mark. The production total was more than the Philadelphia and Carson City Mints combined. Nearly all of this production was exported to China, with most melted there or in India.
