Owner's Description

Today 5/9/2010 the wait came to an end for a worthy example in MS-65 with full bell lines. This coin is outstanding to say the least. While it is not a "Blast White" brilliant specimen, it is a lightly toned one at the upper 1/2 of the perifirey on the obverse and the same type of toning around almost the entire perimeter on the reverse. It is a well struck beauty with very bold bell lines. These early 50's Franklins usually are "well struck" as the "Master Die" had not been weakened to the extent as later on in the late 50's. This coin goes with the norm as being well struck but the degree of preservation and sharpness in Franklins hair and the writing and bell lines on the reverse Liberty Bell leave this coin with a description far above the "norm". I don't think I own a coin with the degree of distinct perfection in the "Bell Line area". A FBL coin thats been well worth the wait.
