Owner's Description

Pop 1, finest known-This set was owned by Rod Asmuth. Rod fell in love with the set; to view the coins he asked that you wear white cotton gloves and view them one at a time so as not to scratch the cases! Sold to Bob Pasek in Baltimore 1995. Rod lost interest in Commems due to the fact that he could not duplicate the quality nor eye-appeal of this 39 set with his additional acquisitions. Larry Shepherd, after purchasing the set from Pasek in March of 2005, resubmitted it to NGC asking for designation review, resulting in all three coins now resting in NGC MS-68 STAR holders!! Sold to Pahrump Coins Apr/05, acquired by the J & L Registry Apr. 4/05. Pop 1, These three coins are not Moon Coins, they are Venus Coins!! Not only is the Oregon the most popular of all the Commems, the 39 Oregon Set is the lowest mintage of all the Oregons, 39-3004, 39-D-3004 and 39-S-3005. Exquisite toning on each both obverse and reverse. Finest Oregon set ever assembled. Highest grade, highest rarity and most fantastic matched color on all three coins. The set was purchased along with the original presentation board.
