Owner's Description

The note in my collection is an example of S116r 40 centavos as it not only added a new bank but also was a less common denomination. The front bears the common vignette and the back highlights the bank’s name and the denomination in green. The S/N is 174,116 so about half way through the print run of 320,000 in January 1873.
