Set Description
Living in Vermont I would love to have a complete set of Vermont coppers but realistically that is a goal I will not achieve unless I win the Powerball lottery. For me any colonial copper is expensive.
I go to any local auction with coins listed hoping to find coins I can afford. So far I have only been able to find one Vermont copper I could afford while at a local auction. One I purchased from eBay and one I purchased from an auction held by a major U.S. auction house using money I received as a finder’s fee when I was able to put together a seller of a complete set of Vermont coppers with that auction house. I paid a lot for that copper but I was playing with the house’s money and I still received about $500 in cash. That was a little over a decade ago.
