Set Description
Looking for high grade strike and preferably some color in these early Federal mint products. Wonderful part of history that these halves had served as bullion in bank vaults since no silver dollars were made during this period. This allowed for large populations of these coins to survive and on rare occasion almost "as made". Hunting for "as made" early Capped Bust Halves is much easier than hunting for unicorns, but not much else! Thanks again to my mentors. The star of the show in this date set is the finest known 1815/2 Capped Half dollar in MS66+.
