True Rainbow toning makes this "GEM" coin a simple treasure. Mint caused and "raised" die striation polishing lines can be seen under the "T" of Liberty. This mint caused polishing allows the coin's surfaces to react better to the sulfur in the cardboard of the Wayte page--thus allowing the prepared coin's surfaces to turn those beautiful "rainbow colors".
