Owner Comments:

V-1, LM-6, R.1. Both 1s in the date are centered over dentils, and delicate repunching shows on star 3. On the reverse the right edge of the C in 5C is just below the tip of the stem. Although this is a common variety, this piece would certainly be near the top of the Condition Census, regardless of variety. Stunning steel-blue and coral-pink patina graces both sides. Although there is some localized planchet roughness around the portrait, as made, there is essentially no bothersome post-strike contact. The sharp strike is every bit as pleasing as are the overall aesthetics.
