Features: the Wright Monument.
From my personal collection. It was time to start getting all GOLD & SILVER graded, with prices soaring over $970 per ounce for gold and over $20 per ounce for silver week ending 03/08/2008), it seemed wise to protect my investment.
Well, along with the silver and gold First Flight Commemoratives in my vault, I also came across some HALF DOLLARS, including this one which I was SO very glad to see returned as an MS70 coin! Although, I then checked the NGC census report, and found that they graded 1,873 of these coins, and of those, 971 of them were MS70 -- nearly 52%! I guess I wasn't SO very special after all, at least not with this coin.
NGC had also told me that they greatly and CONSISTENTLY improved the quality of their imaging service. These are NGC images taken on or about 02/16/2008. What do you think of the quality?
