I acquired this coin on 3/22/2008.
The 1880 CC Morgan Dollar, the Reverse of 1879 variety, is a couple of times more plentiful than the reverse of 1878. The circulation mintage was around 360,000 coins. The NGC certified population is 1 of 28 with only 6 graded higher as of 3/2008. It is "a keeper" :).
This is my second upgrade to my Morgan dollar set this year :).
