Owner Comments:
A popular 20th century type coin, for obvious date reasons, and a plentiful issue in Gem condition. This sharp, vibrantly lustrous example shows warm sun-gold luster with only a few light marks on Liberty's cheek to limit the grade. While plentiful in MS65, the 1901 double eagle is unknown numerically finer at NGC (4/24).
