This is an absolutely wonderful matched set, this description will apply to all three of the 1946 BTW commemoratives. All three coins have a base color of light steely blue that is almost purple. Booming flash can be seen throughout. Gold highlights are found on each coin. Purchased from Northeast Numismatics (www.northeastcoin.com/)
