Owner Comments:
Deep green-gold skin over subdued luster. Nice strike for a '52-C... this combination, plus its unusually mark-free surfaces really make this one stand out amongst the typical '52-C. With the second highest mintage/output (72,574) from the Charlotte mint, this date is another contender for the most "common" Charlote $5, with 315-320 registered with NGC & PCGS in all grades. Could anyone want more crust? Purchased from Doug Winter in February 2000.
