Owner Comments:
WB-101. A nicely toned original coin with good eye appeal but just enough chatter in the obverse fields to account for the grade. WB-7 in Bugert's new monograph. I can't identify any of the marks or die lines cited in that work, but the position of the date, especially the 7, seems more consistent with obverse 7 than obverse 8. R6- as a date in mint state. NGC pops show five in MS-64 with two 65s finer, while PCGS has posted seven in 64 to go with two 65s and one lone 66 atop the chart. From Stack's sale of the Queller collection, October 2002, lot 635.
