Owner Comments:

This "Top-Pop" gets better with every look. The typical granularity that covers much of the coin is imparted by the die, which had probably rusted after sitting at the mint since the fire of 1844. Contact marks on this piece are limited to the already granular fields, presenting a striking portrait of Lady Liberty and well struck eagle.
