Blast white proof surfaces shift from their "black ended" state to fully brilliant mirrors. Liberty and the eagle stand out defiantly against the fields and neither display a single mark. Only 25 With Motto Seated half dollars, 1866-1891, have ever been given the Ultra Cameo designation by NGC! The present specimen is spectacular and pristine. While a Proof 68 graded by NGC is technically the finest example known, this beauty is unquestionably one of the finest 1890 proof half dollars in existence
