NGC Pop 10. PCGS Pop XX. A gorgeous blend of gold, dusty blue, and lavender patina dances over extremely clean, satiny surfaces. A fabulous coin for the issue, which is NOT known to come nice. Scarce above MS64. 1959 FS-801 is the only known example of a Type 1 design hubbed over a Type 2 (Proof) design in the Franklin half dollar series.
