Owner Comments:

WB-101. Tail variety 1. (There is a line on the holder which shows in the photo between star 8 and Liberty's head.) In their book W&B state that most 1859s are fully struck and without significance. And this coin fulfills that description, just beautiful, no distinguishing marks. A lone NGC MS-67 with PCGS having graded nothing that fine. Bought directly from Heritage January 2003.
