Part of My Heritage Set
Dedicated by theme and date:
By date and theme the Bicentennial coin is dedicated to the Revolutionary War Veterans in the family. Membership in the Sons of the American Revolution: Kinney, Robbins, Raymond, Stephens, Cushman, Crocker, Washburn, Harlow and Churchill all served the country in most of the major battles of the Revolution attached to States Militia.
By design the obverse detail of Dwight D. Eisenhower represents the sitting President when I was born and he also made Hawaii the 50th state in the Union on August 15, 1959 by a stroke of the pen.
