Owner Comments:
The 1950 D is a tougher date in MS66 and rare in superb gem 67 with less than 20 examples ( maybe fewer with resubmissions?) certified between both grading services over the past 25+ years. From an original mintage of 6004 pieces, this CAC certified and condition consensus coin has wonderful eye appealing satiny lustered & silvery gray surfaces. Two areas of rim toning add to the eye appeal and show the originality of the surfaces. Both sections sport colors of forest green, crimson, russet and red.
Very clean and mark free fields and devices excluding very minimal planchet chatter on the jawline. A condition consensus, eye appealing, and rare BTW that is CAC certified (1 of only 6). This coin is also a PCGS plate coin
