Owner Comments:
A series key date and very tough to find in upper grades. Many coins are seriously bag marked, many have planchet strike flaws on Carver's jaw line and throw in a few or a lot of nicks, hits, reed marks and you get the idea these are not easy. Also don't forget to add in strike issues on the map, the period of the S. in U.S.A. This is a solid WC with white silver surfaces which are very lustrous for a D mint issue. The fields and devices are relatively clean and perfectly acceptable for the lofty 66 grade. CAC agrees and tagged this coin. A spot or two of color is seen on the coin.
Population: PCGS: 46 in 66, with only 1 higher in 66+. NGC: 28 in 66, with only 1 higher in 66+. CAC: Only 16 in 66, 0 higher. (9/13)
