Owner Comments:
This dime has a light multi-colored tone on the obverse with neutral eye-appeal. The tone on the reverse, however, is spotty dark red colored and nowhere near as attractive. Overall, I'd say this dime has below average eye-appeal.
Color aside, the coin has a great strike with no significant spread in any of the lettering or hairlines. It has very fine details with great eye and brow features. All torch lines are clear, well-defined, and uninterrupted. Very light contact marks are present but consistent with the grade.
Overall, the biggest issue with this dime is the spotty dark tone on the reverse. Perhaps this coin is a candidate for conservation.
