This 1962 example is the best of the best in Ultra Cameo eye-appeal. 1962 Franklins are very hard to find with this kind of frost that buries the devices under 10 feet of the purest, whitest snow. Most 1962 Franklins hold pathetic wisps of frost, if any. This Franklin’s devices, however, are a chunk of Arctic ice sitting on the deepest, blackest fields; only black and white contrast on both obverse and reverse. This coin is flawless; not one hairline, one spot or one speck of haze.
