Purchased on 12/25/2012.

This is a stunning quarter. The obverse is painted with shades of purple and orange/yellow, with an area of deep blue over the date. The reverse is untoned at the eagle's breast, transitioning though tones of yellow, orange, rose, and finally lavender and deep blue. I searched a long time to find a type set example that had both great eye appeal and showed off the classic beauty of the Washington Quarter.
