Owner Comments:
Beautiful Franklin half with nice luster, great toning, and pretty strong strike. Obverse is a light blue-green color in the center while the perimeter is a mix of pink, orange, and light gold. Reverse is similarly colored but with much less of perimeter coloration. Obverse toning exhibits definite residual light fingerprint markings although these are not necessarily detractions. A few very light contact marks and scratches are present, but coin is remarkably damage free; grade appears closer to commensurate with MS66. Cost: $52.49 on 10/28/12 on eBay from T. Baxes (113tb).
