I started out by doing all the research into just how much the 42 cents were going for in the market. In doing so, I was able to decide on the price range I would be willing to pay. This information in hand, I began the search. The 42P was easy to find, and there was one brilliant example available from David Lawrence Rare Coins. He also had a 42D available, but just outside my price range. I put in an offer for it, and it was accepted, and I gladly purchased them both.
