Owner Comments:

1845 $2 1/2 MS63 NGC. This issue, despite a considerable mintage of 91,051 coins, is scarce in Mint State, while available in lower grades. The present piece offers wonderful, mellow orange-gold surfaces that show only a few light, grade-consistent abrasions. A straight die crack runs from the olive stem tip to the rim at 5 o'clock. Census: 16 in 63, 7 finer.
