Owner Comments:

1916-S NGC MS65. The photos do not do justice to this coin. It has excellent luster, great color and nearly full mint bloom. The obverse fields are interesting in that near the center they are quite smooth, but they become finely granular toward the rims. The "S" mint mark shows a vertical line alone the left side of the "S" which appears to have been from the edge of the punch being impressed into the die.
